Welded Metal Components for Stairs, Gates, Awnings & More

As one of the best custom welding shops in Wichita, we specialize in miscellaneous metal fabrication—welded parts that are too specific for prefab kits and too essential to leave to guesswork. Our licensed welders and certified fabrication team work with general contractors, property managers, and developers to deliver job-ready components that meet real-world project demands.

All of our work is completed in-house by local experts who understand Wichita’s building codes, site conditions, and scheduling needs. Whether you’re building in Derby, Maize, or the heart of Wichita, we’re ready to support your team with fast, precise fabrication services in Wichita.

What Do We Fabricate?

Our expertise is in miscellaneous metal fabrication—small to midsize welded projectscomponents that are essential to commercial and multi-family construction. These aren’t structural beams or prefabricated kits. They’re the building-specific elements such as gates, stairs, railings, and awnings —and they’re built right here in Wichita to match your specs.

Our work is commonly used in apartment complexes, office buildings, motels, and retail storefronts throughout Kansas. Every part is designed for real-world use and shaped around how it will be installed and what kind of wear it will take.

What is Our Metal Fabrication Process?

Our process is designed to move quickly while keeping everything aligned with your specifications and schedule

You Share the Specs

We start with what you’ve got—sketches, drawings, measurements, or jobsite photos. We don’t need a full CAD file (but we’ll take one if you have it). If anything is unclear, we’ll talk it through and clarify early.

We Review the Design

We look at the environment, use, and install method:

  • Will this live indoors or outdoors?
  • Does it need to meet a specific load requirement or code?
  • Is it being bolted, embedded, or welded onsite?

Then we choose the right material—steel, aluminum, or stainless—and make any design tweaks before cutting.

Cut and Fit

We cut everything to size, prep the surfaces, and dry-fit pieces to confirm alignment. When needed, we use jigs or fixtures to ensure square angles and proper spacing for welds.

Welding and Assembly

We weld everything in-house using MIG, TIG, or stick welding, depending on material and function. For gates and stairs, we check for movement, weight distribution, and mounting points before moving to finish.

Finishing

We apply the right protective finish for your job:

  • Primer for paintable indoor components
  • Galvanizing for weather resistance
  • Powder coating in your chosen color
  • Grinding and smoothing for clean edges and safer handling

Delivery or Pickup

You can pick up from our Wichita shop or schedule delivery to job sites in Goddard, Haysville, Eastborough, or anywhere around the metro area. We can also coordinate handoffs with your install crew or field welder if you so choose.
